Patrons & Sponsors
Patrons & Sponsors
The BerryPOP festival and Superheroes Community Care programs are funded entirely by the generosity of our patrons, sponsors, and donors. Every contribution — large or small — stays in the Shoalhaven and directly supports local families.
Who our patrons are
Patrons of Superheroes Events Limited are individuals and organisations who believe in the mission: making the Shoalhaven South Coast the Superheroes Capital of NSW and Australia. Our patron roster has included Shoalhaven City Council mayors, members of NSW Parliament, community leaders, and the Premier of NSW.
Patrons lend their name, influence, and time — advocating for the charity, attending events, and helping open doors. There is no financial obligation attached to patronage, though many patrons also choose to donate or sponsor.
Corporate sponsorship
Local businesses can sponsor specific BerryPOP festival elements or Superheroes Community Care programs:
- Gala Dinner sponsor — your brand on every dinner program, table, and all pre-event promotion. The single highest-visibility sponsorship.
- Kidditch Tournament sponsor — naming rights on the tournament, your logo on team shirts, and recognition in all media coverage.
- Raffle partner — co-brand the annual raffle with us. Past raffle prizes have included a new car; a dealership or local business can earn significant community goodwill by supplying or co-sponsoring the prize.
- Retreat sponsor — sponsor a room, a garden, or a season of retreat stays. Your contribution is acknowledged on-site and in our annual impact report.
- In-kind sponsorship — donate goods or services (catering, printing, photography, transport, venue space) and be recognised as a festival supporter.
All sponsorship contributions to SEL are tax-deductible under our DGR1 status. Sponsors receive a formal receipt, recognition on this website, acknowledgement at the sponsored event, and a letter of appreciation suitable for your own marketing.
Individual patronage
Not a business? Individuals can become Friends of BerryPOP by making a regular or one-off donation. Every Friend receives a mention in our annual newsletter and an invitation to the annual Patrons & Sponsors thank-you event.
